Terms of Service

Terms for using this website, and for welding and fabrication work performed by us.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

1. Who this applies to

These terms cover two things: using this website, and any welding, fabrication, repair or installation work you hire ATR Welding, Inc. (CSLB #1037852) to perform. By browsing the site or engaging us for work, you agree to these terms.

2. Estimates

Estimates given by phone, text or in person are our best assessment based on what we can see at the time. A final price is confirmed before work begins, and may change if the actual scope differs from what was described or visible during the estimate — for example, hidden damage found once a repair is underway. We will tell you before doing additional work that changes the price, not after.

3. Scheduling and payment

Scheduling, deposit requirements (if any) and payment terms are agreed per job, in writing or by text confirmation, before work begins. Nothing here should be read as stating a specific deposit percentage or payment schedule that applies automatically — ask what applies to your job when you book it.

4. Materials and workmanship

Work is performed to the standard required by applicable building codes for the type of job (see the relevant service page for code notes that apply to that work). Material and finish recommendations are made honestly based on where and how the piece will be used; the final choice is yours unless a code requirement dictates otherwise.

5. Permits

Whether a job requires a permit depends on the city and the scope of work. We will flag jobs that look like they need one, but confirming with the local building department and obtaining any required permit is the property owner’s responsibility unless we specifically agree in writing to handle it as part of the job.

6. Liability

ATR Welding, Inc. is licensed, bonded and insured. Our liability for any claim arising from work performed is limited to what is covered under that bonding and insurance, to the extent permitted by California law. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed or reasonably discoverable at the time of the estimate.

7. Website use

Content on this website is provided for general information about our services. Prices are not published on this site because they vary by job — nothing on this site constitutes a binding quote until confirmed directly with us for a specific job.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.

10. Contact
