Privacy Policy
Short, because this site does very little with your data today.

The short version
As of August 9, 2026, this website runs no analytics, sets no cookies, embeds no tracking pixels and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties. The only information we receive is what you deliberately send us: a phone call, a text message, an email, or the map you choose to load on the contact page.
1. Who we are
ATR Welding, Inc., CSLB #1037852, based in Hayward, CA. We provide welding, metal fabrication, and installation services. You can reach us at (510) 363-2490 or Lee@atrwelding.com.
2. What this website collects automatically
No cookies. This site sets none. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, session replay, heatmaps or any equivalent. We do not know how many people visited this page.
No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from our own domain, not from a font CDN, so your browser does not contact anyone else while rendering this page.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to serve the page and protect against abuse. We do not use those logs for marketing and do not combine them with anything else. Cloudflare’s own handling is governed by its privacy policy.
3. Information you choose to give us
Phone calls and text messages
If you call or text, we keep what you tell us: your name, your number, and notes about the job. We use it to respond to you and to provide the work if you become a client. We do not record calls. If that ever changes, this policy will say so before it starts, and you will be told at the beginning of the call.
The virtual assistant (not live yet)
We plan to add an AI chat assistant to help answer common questions. As of August 9, 2026 it is not live — the site has no chat widget. When it is added, this section will be rewritten first to describe exactly what the assistant collects and how, and that will be published before the assistant script is, not after. If you ever see a chat widget on this site and this section still says otherwise, treat that as a bug and call us about it.
Google Maps on the contact page
The map on our contact page does not load until you press the button. Nothing is sent to Google before that. If you do load it, Google receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy. You can view the location in a separate tab instead if you prefer.
4. What we never do
- We do not sell or share your personal information. We have not in the past twelve months and have no plans to.
- We do not use your information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not run trackers, pixels or session recording.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
5. How long we keep things
Enquiry details from calls, texts or email: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted. Client and job records: for the duration of the job plus the period required for tax and accounting purposes.
6. Your rights in California
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any), and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these.
To exercise any of them, call or text (510) 363-2490 and say so. We will verify that the request is genuinely yours — usually by confirming details only you would know — and respond within 45 days. There is no charge. You may use an authorised agent.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We keep the number of systems holding your information small, because the most reliable security control available to a business our size is not collecting things in the first place. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that collects or transmits visitor data — the virtual assistant, analytics, a contact form — we will update this page before that goes live, not after, and change the date at the top.
